Lindsay Day #4 It had to be embarrassing when Matt fell in the stream, and it was rude how Attean didn't even help him get out of it! Despite the lack of respect he seemed to have for Matt, it was nice of Attean to make new hooks for Matt. I wonder why this book is called 'The Sign of the Beaver' when the first time they mention anything about a beaver is in the eleventh chapter. Attean seems like a friend you'd like to have around only in certain situations. There was a grammatical error on page 49 paragraph 5 when there was no comma after ' In fact.' I didn't know you could eat sap. It sounds disgusting, but the way the author described it sounds good. I agree with Tanner that it's quite weird and strange that Attean labels caucasians as white people.
