Jordyn Day 3 I agree with Tanner, that it would stink to not have your dad with you at your house because sometimes you might need help with something important and plus who would want to be alone for that long of a time, especially a kid. I think Attean is going to be a big help for Matt when he doesn’t know how to do something. Attean, is teaching him how to catch a rabbit, catch fish and how to make a new hook to fish, if it breaks. Now that I think about it, Lindsey is probably right that the setting of the book is in the 1700's because they had to build a log cabin and they didn’t have all that technology or a lot of things we have now to survive. I wonder if Attean doesn’t want to learn how to sign and doesn’t do it with Matt and maybe the Indians won't help Matt with food he needs or if he is hurt they won't help.
